Stainless Steel Cat Litter Boxes: Understanding the Dimensions
Two stainless steel cat litter boxes can have similar length and width while offering different layouts. An open tray, an enclosed box and an open-top box with high sides need more than a single size label to describe them. For a wholesale comparison, separate the assembled product dimensions, individual component measurements and carton dimensions before deciding which models belong in your range.
Start with the overall product size
The overall dimensions provide the first comparison of the product's outside size. Record all three measurements and the unit, then identify the model's shape. The three examples below illustrate why a similar footprint does not describe the top or entrance arrangement.

The stainless steel in YTP-7-00013, YTP-7-00014 and YTP-7-00015 is confirmed as grade 201. Record the grade alongside each item number, overall dimensions and layout when preparing your comparison.
Keep component heights separate from assembled height
For YTP-7-00014, the confirmed overall height is 39 cm. The cover height and base height are each listed separately as 20 cm. Those component measurements should not be added to replace the assembled height with 40 cm. Use the overall dimension for the complete product, and retain the two component heights as separate entries.
When checking a sample or requesting a drawing, label the start and end points of each measurement. If an additional dimension appears in a specification note, ask which part it describes before using it in a purchase order. A marked drawing keeps component measurements attached to the correct feature without relying on a guessed interpretation.
For YTP-7-00015, the overall size is 58 × 37 × 34 cm, with a base height of 14.5 cm and a cover height of 19.5 cm. Record both component heights separately when preparing a size comparison or a custom-size brief.
Ask for usable space and entrance details
External length and width do not establish the interior floor measurements. Likewise, the overall height of a high-sided box does not tell you the height of its lowered front entrance. An enclosed model also needs a clear description of its openings.
- Request the internal floor length and width if these affect your selection.
- Identify the entrance location and request its dimensions where needed.
- Ask for the assembled views and any separate-component views needed for comparison.
- Keep the marked drawing with the approved sample and specification.
Read carton dimensions as packing information
YTP-7-00014 lists a 60 × 39 × 26 cm carton with one unit per carton. The 26 cm carton height is a packing measurement, not a replacement for the product's 39 cm overall height. Review the packed configuration to understand which parts are included and how they are arranged.
Keep carton quantity beside carton size when comparing an order. YTP-7-00013 lists 20 pieces per carton, while YTP-7-00015 lists four. These are different packing arrangements, so a carton-to-carton comparison without the unit count would be incomplete. Review protective packing, labels and carton markings for your selected version.
