Building a Wholesale Dog Toy Range: Rope, Plush and ETPU Balls

A wholesale dog toy range needs clear differences between its items. A rope duck and a plush duck share a character, but their construction, dimensions and carton quantities are different. An ETPU ball adds another form and a choice of diameters. Treat these as separate buying decisions so your order has a defined mix rather than several products selected only because they look different in photographs.

Build the comparison around construction

Begin with one line for each material and shape combination. This keeps a character name such as “duck” from hiding an important difference in the product itself. For the examples below, retain the item numbers throughout sampling, quotation and packing review.

ProductListed materialListed dimensionsStandard carton quantity
Cotton-rope duck, YTP-4-00003Cotton rope14 × 9 cm150 pieces
Plush duck, YTP-4-00011Plush + cotton25 × 22 × 5 cm100 pieces
ETPU ball, YTP-4-00006ETPU5, 6.5 or 7.5 cm diameterDepends on diameter

The larger outer dimensions of the plush duck describe its character format; they do not make it an equivalent substitute for the rope version. Compare the sample construction and intended assortment position separately. Do not infer a squeaker or another feature from the animal shape: include any required feature explicitly in the product brief.

Split the ball order by diameter

The ETPU ball uses one item number with three size options. A request for “2,000 balls” is incomplete if it does not identify the quantity required in each diameter. The listed carton quantities are 450 pieces for the 5 cm ball, 300 for the 6.5 cm ball and 200 for the 7.5 cm ball.

Write each diameter as its own order line and keep its carton quantity beside it. If your desired quantity does not align with the listed packing, ask how the remaining units would be packed. Changing the size mix changes the packing calculation; do not use one carton quantity across all three options.

Decide the assortment before requesting custom details

Use the rope and plush ducks to compare two constructions within one visual theme, or combine either with the ball to introduce a different form. There is no fixed proportion that fits every retail range. Start with your planned product groups and quantities, then review the samples and packaging as an assortment.

  • List the item number and, for the ball, the selected diameter.
  • Give a quantity for each product and size rather than one combined total.
  • Provide color references and identify where branding is requested.
  • Specify individual packaging, labels and any carton-marking requirements.
  • State the destination and your requested arrival window for schedule review.

Each of these product pages lists a 2,000-piece MOQ. That does not establish that different products or ball sizes can share one combined minimum. Confirm the proposed split in the quotation. HBYT supports customization, with the requested design, branding and packing details reviewed against the selected product.

Buyer questions

Can I quote all three ball diameters as a single line?

Keep the shared item number, but provide separate diameter and quantity lines. This lets the quotation and packing review follow the actual size mix.

Does a material name establish a performance claim?

No. Specify any required performance and request product-specific supporting information. The material and dimensions listed here do not establish chew resistance, flotation or other unlisted features.

Send a range brief

Review the Pet Toys collection and send your item-by-item assortment, including ball diameters, quantities and packaging requirements, for a quote based on the products you actually selected.
